Resumen
The study by Soriano-Maldonado et al. (2019), part of the EFICAN trial, investigated the impact of adding supervised resistance training to daily walking goals in breast cancer survivors. While the combined program significantly increased full-body muscular strength, no additional benefits were seen in quality of life or fatigue metrics compared to the walking-only group within the 12-week timeframe.
